The Joyful Mysteries
The Annunciation; The Visitation; The Birth of Jesus; The Presentation; The Finding in the Temple
These are the Mysteries of Jesus' birth and early life.

The Luminous Mysteries
The Baptism; The Wedding at Cana; The Proclamation of the Kingdom of God; The Transfiguration; The Institution of the Eucharist
These are the Mysteries of Christ's priesthood.

The Sorrowful Mysteries
The Agony in the Garden; The Scourging at the Pillar; The Crowning with Thorns; The Bearing of the Cross; The Crucifixion
These are the Mysteries of Christ's suffering and death.

The Glorious Mysteries
The Resurrection; The Ascension; The Descent of the Holy Spirit; The Assumption; The Coronation
These are the Mysteries of Christ's victory over death and Mary's special place as the Holy Mother.

Our Father.

Our Father, who art in heaven
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Ár nAthair

Ár nAthair atá ar neamh,
go naofar d'ainm,
go dtaga do ríocht,
go ndéantar do thoil
ar an talamh, mar a dhéantar ar neamh.

Ar n-arán laethúiI tabhair dúinn inniu,
agus maith dúinn ár bhfiacha,
mar a mhaithimidne dár bhféichiuna féin,
agus na lig sinn i gcathú,
ach saor sinn ón olc.

Hail Mary.

Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.

Sé do bheatha, a Mhuire

Sé do bheatha, a Mhuire,
atá lán de ghrásta,
Tá an Tiarna leat.
Is beannaithe thú idir mná,
Agus is beannaithe toradh do bhroinne, Íosa.

A Naomh-Mhuire, a Mháthair Dé,
guigh orainn na peacaigh,
anois, agus ar uair ár mbáis.

bulletGlory be to the Father.

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.

bulletGlóir don Athair.

Glóir don Athair,
agus don Mhac,
agus don Spiorad Naomh.
Mar a bhí ar dtús,
mar atá anios, agus mar a bheas go bráth
trí shaol na saol.

bulletThe Apostles creed.

I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Creator of Heaven and Earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven and is seated
at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church,
the Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.

bulletHail Holy Queen.

HAIL HOLY Queen, Mother of Mercy;
Hail our life, our sweetness and our hope!
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve;
To thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us,
and after this our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!

An Act of Contrition.

O MY GOD! I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee;
and I detest my sins above every other evil,
because they displease Thee, my God,
Who for Thine infinite goodness art so deserving of all my love;
and I firmly resolve, by Thy holy grace, never more to offend Thee,
and to amend my life.

bulletPrayer before Meals.

Bless us, O Lord,
and these Thy gifts
which of Thy bounty,
we are about to receive.
Through Christ our Lord.

bulletPrayer after Meals.

We give Thee thanks, almighty God,
for all Thy benefits,
who livest and reignest for ever and ever. Amen.

bulletPrayer to your Guardian Angel
O Angel of God My Guardian Dear
To Whom God's Love
commits me Here
Ever this day be at my side
To light and guard to rule and guide Amen
bulletThe Angelus

The Angel of the Lord declared to Mary:
And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.

Hail Mary . . .  (see above)

Behold the handmaid of the Lord:
Be it done unto me according to Thy word.

Hail Mary . . .

And the Word was made Flesh:
And dwelt among us.

Hail Mary . . .

Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God,
that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray:

Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord,
Thy grace into our hearts;
that we, to whom the incarnation of Christ, Thy Son,
was made known by the message of an angel,
may by His Passion and Cross
be brought to the glory of His Resurrection,
through the same Christ Our Lord.
